Picture Of The Day

I know it's been quiet around here because... well... it's summer and we have nothing and everything going on.  There have been lots of lazy afternoons and evenings in the pool and a general attitude of doing just the minimum to get by while we have fun.

It's been super hot this week, so last night we decided to dine poolside.  Thank you, summer, for your bounty and Kroger for your manager's specials.

Mozarella - $2.58
Greens - $0.70
Tomatoes from the farm stand (I buy the less than perfect ones) - $1.00
Pitas - $1.09
Fresh herbs - $0.75
Olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper - pennies

We so enjoyed this delicious dinner for just over $6.00.  And, of course, icecream followed for dessert.  We love summer.
