Two years ago today, my life was forever changed when I opened several emails about a little Armenian boy named Karen. That day, I could never have imagined the long and frustrating journey to bring him home. I could never have fathomed how challenging and sometimes overwhelming it would be to parent this child. And I could never have dreamed of this completely breath-taking, heart-stopping and fiercely protective love I would feel for my son.
Two years ago today, my heart said yes, in a split second with the simple click of a button, yes, yes, yes, forever yes.
