Referred a brother and sister means simply that a family was referred biological Bulgarian siblings, one male and one female, as opposed to being referred a single child or multiple children who are not biologically related.
ReplyDeleteReferred a waiting child with a profile on the MOJ site means that the family was referred an identified child with special needs who has been listed on the site of the Bulgarian Ministry of Justice for adoption. If this still doesn't make sense and you are not familiar with waiting children, feel free to ask again and I will explain: viviane 8 at yahoo dot com.
With features in health status means that the child referred has one or more medical conditions. This can be anything from club feet to heart defects to missing limbs to Down Syndrome to cerebral palsy to Hepatitis etc.
With features in health status and a family history means that the child has one or more medical conditions as well as something in his/her bio family history that may affected an adoptive family's decision to proceed. Factors in the family history may be such things as known cognitive disability in the birth mother, the child being the result of a rape, the birth mother being known to have used alcohol during the pregnancy, a birth father who is physically disabled, etc.
