Halloween 2014

Yesterday Ella experienced her first Halloween.  She was very pleased with the princess costume which she had requested and glad to meet her extended family, including cousins, for trick or treating.

Unfortunately, the weather was chilly, windy and sleety, so we didn't stay out for more than a half hour.  We still got way too much candy.  I tried all night to get good pictures of the kids, but didn't really succeed among all the crazy excitement that was going on.

Ella carefully reviewed her candy loot.  I didn't tell her how much candy she could have and was pleased to see her stop on her own after three or four pieces.

Since Reese's cups are Craig's favorite candy, we had to take a picture of Ella's first taste of them.

At some point, Emilia decided she didn't want to be Princess Anna from Frozen anymore and transformed herself into a witch.

And Rex, for the third year running, was the most adorable pumpkin ever.  He had the best time trick or treating this year.

As things were finally winding down, I was able to snap a picture of all three kids on the couch.
