Hey girl – We did get our extension in record time although not before we expired. It is being apostilled now. This is our second extension except this one seems more crucial than the last one since we have been told our referral(s)should be soon. – that’s not the first time we have heard that little bit of information – still waiting to see their precious little faces – Plus it hurts too bad to get our hopes up. So life goes on. This adoption process has been brutal and definitely not for the weak at heart. We are frustrated with this long process especially since it was not what we signed up for. Our life is on hold while we wait. Still hopeful and the end result we know will be worth it.

I know how you feel. It's heart-breaking, but your little ones will come soon. You have put in your time. I think all of us who signed up for BLG in 2009 and were given the 12-18 months time frame were disappointed and frustrated, but finally our kids are making it home. It's slow going, but it's our turn now. Fingers crossed you're next!
